The HPE MSA 2060 R0Q39B is a 2U, 12-bay LFF drive expansion enclosure designed to add storage capacity to compatible HPE MSA storage systems. It uses 12Gb SAS expansion connectivity and supports 12 × 3.5-inch LFF drives. It is an expansion enclosure, not a standalone SAN storage array.

12Gb SAS Expansion
The 12Gb SAS connection is used for expansion, connecting the enclosure to the MSA storage array or another enclosure in the supported cascade.
The preconfigured MSA 2060 LFF drive enclosure includes two I/O modules.
This provides the SAS expansion paths between the enclosure and the MSA storage system.
HPE also specifies that the enclosure includes two 0.5m Mini-SAS HD to Mini-SAS HD cables for connection to the MSA array expansion port or an existing drive-enclosure cascade port.
